Fixed bridge provides the sturdiest tooth replacement option. Bridgework can be compared to having three crowns. In this procedure, two adjacent teeth next to the missing tooth area are prepared for crowns and the false tooth is attached in between these two crowns to replace the missing tooth. It can be used for multiple spaces, provided the adjacent teeth are present with good gums and bone support and is free of decay.

Dental implants are the most expensive of the three options.
